Rescue Dog Yoga is an ongoing special project of social responsibility & wellbeing powered by Ohana Vet.
Our experience, as co-founders, of practicing yoga in Tulum, Mexico, alongside abandoned dogs later rescued, inspired us to bring this
concept to Romania.
Through this project, we aim to raise awareness for adoptions, promote spaying/ neutering, support animal-dedicated NGOs, and encourage an active and mindful lifestyle alongside our furry family members.
A pure therapy with multiple benefits for both practitioners and dogs. During practice, yogis release endorphins, experience a state of presence and relaxation, while for doggos, it represents a good exercise in socialization and increases their chances of adoption and integration.
Special guests at our yoga events are puppies and adult dogs. They all have a lot of love to offer and deserve to find their people and their home.
To reach as many communities as possible, we collaborate with various private and public shelters, various zen locations, and diverse accredited yoga teachers with different styles of practice.
The events of 2024 will be announced on our Instagram page @ohana.vet.clinic, stay close!
All participation fees are donated to shelters.
Interacting with dogs helps you release endorphins, be present, and have a calm and relaxed state.
Dogs always bring you a lot of joy and bring out the inner child in you to play.
What could be more memorable than practicing an asana while a furry friend assists you?
The event is also about mindfulness; practicing with dogs challenges you, and guided meditation and deep breathing help improve your focus.
Through our yoga session, we increase awareness for dog adoption and make a real difference for our furry friends.
