Ohana means family, and family, including the furry companions who join us along the way, is one of the most important things to us.
We realized this from a young age when ‘Băiatu’, the Labrador we found in a field in Snagov, with gentle eyes, black fur, and the most intelligent spirit, became part of our family.
With an adventurous personality, ‘Băiatu’ accompanied us everywhere. In one of our childhood adventures, he got injured and came home with a broken leg. Alexandra, then 12 years old, without internet access, improvised a splint with support sticks for his paw, and the paw healed.
Now we want to do the same for any furry family member in need.
Our mission is to create a healthier (and fear-free) future for the animals in our families.
We aim to establish genuine and authentic connections with everyone who visits our clinic. That’s why we communicate honestly and openly with all pet parents, whether it’s about medical conditions, treatment options and the benefits of recommended procedures, next steps at home, recovery, or nutrition.
we have it.
we walk the talk.
we do it our way.
we feel you.
make the world a better place.

Throughout her veterinary surgical career, she has treated and operated on thousands of patients, ranging from maxillofacial interventions, reconstructive oncologic surgery, various fractures and luxations, PRP therapy for musculoskeletal injuries, to the use of Zlig technique, a next-generation approach for Western countries and innovative for Romania in the surgical treatment of cranial cruciate ligament rupture.
Furthermore, Dr. Alexandra Florea participates in continuous medical education courses to keep up with the latest trends and surgical techniques in her specialty.
Energetic and visionary, my daily motivation is to increase awareness of prevention and the importance of diagnosis before treatment.
Because I love to “fix”, throughout my career, I have treated and operated on thousands of patients, from maxillofacial interventions, reconstructive oncologic surgery, various fractures and luxations, PRP therapy for musculoskeletal injuries, to the use of state-of-the-art techniques learned in Germany and applied in Romania.
Passionate about continuous development in the industry, after more than 7 years of working in veterinary clinics in Germany, I returned to my country to offer the best veterinary services and top alternatives for pets here.
Through my total dedication to Ohana Vet, I ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. My responsibility includes the day-to-day activities and our furry patients who are always greeted with good energy and treated with the utmost care. I collaborate with our team of veterinarians and assistants in an environment that embraces teamwork and empathy.
Additionally, I am passionate about sustainability, believe in adopting a healthy lifestyle, and I am concerned with selecting products for our pet shop, where we offer top-quality options for all visiting pets.
After living seven years in Vienna and one year in Berlin, I returned with the desire to build a better future for all of us here in Romania.
